Phil spyed a shot of his old Mach one in the Events section, and sent in this photo of the '68 T/A Mustang he just sold. The Mustang was one of five original cars that Ford sent to Shelby to be used in the SCCA TRANS-AM series for that year. Phil restored most of it himself and vintage raced it for 12 years. It was powered by a 440-hp 302. Phil ran his 1971 Mustang MACH 1 on the old Utica test track at the SAAC-MCR Show 'N Go in 1986. The 351-C, 4spd, 3:50 geared Mach ran 146-mph that day, fastest speed that day!
