Jays Silver Jade Mach is an original R-code 428 CJ Mach, but it doesn't have a 428
under the hood. It sure looks like a stock Mach, but can you say...sleeper? Surprise,
surprise, it has an all-aluminum 511-inch 706-horse "Dinosaur" FE. There's a Shelby
block, Edelbrock heads, Dove intake and a 1150 Dominator carb hiding under under that
shaker. And shake it does, Jay rips off 10.60's all day and then drives it home. With
a C-6 trans, Gear Vendors overdrive, and 9" slicks, it was more than enough to trounce
an original Hemi Dart at Hot Rods inaugural Drag Week in September, 2005. (9-17-05)
